Recycling Services

We have a section designated to the depollution of End of life vehicles (ELV’s). We have been operating the ELV facility since being awarded the main ATF in Galway.

We are permitted to collect ELV’s and related waste materials. A waste collection permit has been issued by Mayo county Council and we are fully compliant with the requirements of the waste management (Collection Permit) regulation 2001.

We also operate a facility for storing ELV’s and other similar waste and this facility is permitted by Galway City Council in accordance with the Waste Management (Permit) Regulations 1998.

We also operate the depollution of ELV’s which involves issuing a certificate of destruction for all these vehicles. This permit was granted to us by Galway City Council under the Waste Management Acts 1996 to 2005.

Once the vehicle has been depolluted and a certificate of destruction issued the vehicle is destroyed.
